 Curwensville Lake is a dammed section of the West Branch Susquehanna River. Weather
 Day-use facilities include a beach, launch ramp, picnicing and play fields. The dam lies about 2 miles south of Curwensville Borough. Before the dam was built, there were several floods occurring along the West Branch Susquehanna River, affecting the towns of Curwensville, and Clearfield to the north.
